From famed "MythMasters" and “Shakespeare Guyz” David Zucker and Richard McElvain, comes a show about the wonder of discovery! This is math, not as an obstacle but as a doorway through which students can find a world that is fun, astonishing and inspirational. In this witty and surprise-filled theater piece, David and Richard invite their audience to dive into math as they might a soccer or video game. Using multi-media, puppetry, fun costumes, music and audience participation, they take students back through some of the great historical moments of mathematical discovery.
Virtual Adaptation for Remote Learning: The skillfully produced MathsAmazing! video can be viewed flexibly and is divided into segments that can be engaged with one at a time. School has access to the video for one week unless otherwise stated in contract. Do not distribute video link outside of the agreed upon parties. Please introduce the artists as a Young Audiences of Massachusetts Ensemble.

- 2 music stands (solid black-style, preferably)
- 1 long folding table (6-8 footer)
- 1 small table, student desk, or rolling AV cart
- 20’ by 20’ stage area with a clean floor (swept and mopped)
- If students are seated in chairs rather than on the floor, a stage or raised platform is required.
Arrival time before first performance: 45 minutes
Time needed between performances: 15 minutes
Strike time: 20 minutes
Teachers are asked to model appropriate audience behavior for students.
