¡Vive el Cuento! (Live the Story!)

Master Story Performer™, author and winner of the National Storytelling Network ORACLE Circle of Excellence award, Leeny Del Seamonds invites students to “Live the Story” and “Be the Best You Can Be!” with international tales of kindness, inspiration and the bravery to overcome adversity and make a difference! Leeny writes and performs animated, uplifting stories demonstrating the passion, resiliency, and triumphs of the human spirit, inflected with her Cuban American sense of humor. Students learn about the universal elements of storytelling along with the unique flavors of different cultures. Drawing from her diverse and extensive repertoire, Leeny can adapt her program to accommodate repeat hosts, grade appropriateness, and curricular/seasonal requests.

Program available in person, live online, or as a pre recorded video including one virtual artist visit.

Single Performance: $770
Additional Performances: $615
Travel: $75 per day
Video Program (one week access+ one virtual artist visit): $600
Additional Artist Visit (30 min): $150
Pricing may vary for weekends/out-of-school time
Processing Fee of $45 added to all contracts

Provisions:

  • 1 reserved parking space - please communicate location of parking space to AFLMA prior to performance date
  • Small student desk or table
  • Working electrical outlet
  • Access to a staff restroom
  • Water for 1 person
  • An adult to assist Leeny in unloading and reloading her sound equipment, OR Someone who can assist her in connecting her wireless microphone to your sound system. It requires an XLR input.

Performance Space:

  • Clear of extra materials and swept clean
  • If possible, elementary students should be seated on the floor

Arrival time before first performance: 40 minutes

Strike time: 15 minutes

Time needed between performances: 10 minutes.

Teacher participation is encouraged.

Please introduce the performer as an Arts for Learning Massachusetts artist.

 

Video Program: School has access to the video for one week unless otherwise stated in contract. Do not distribute video link outside of the agreed upon parties. Please introduce the performer as an Arts for Learning Massachusetts artist.
