Bucket Drumming Workshop
Students will learn how rhythm, sound, and beats can be made from any surface. Using buckets, students will learn basic principals of ensemble drumming as well as polyrhythms. A culminating event will share the students’ progress.
Bucket Drumming can also be offered as a post-performance workshop.
Remote Learning Adaptation: In live online workshops, students can replace buckets and drum sticks with household items such as wooden spoons, pots and pans, or even pillows (just so they can learn beats and rythmns). If no homemade instruments can be found, students can participate using body percussion.

2 Workshops: $550
Additional or Post Performance Workshops: $220
Residency Workshops: $175-275
Planning fee based upon scope of residency.
Travel: $100 per day
Processing Fee of $45 added to all contracts
Pricing may vary for weekends/out-of-school time
Provisions:
- 1 reserved parking space
- Bottled water, or access to water
- A teacher in the room to support artist and address student needs, (more required for more than 15 students)
- For workshops in small indoor rooms, we recommend 15 or fewer participants
