Kathaka
Kathakas are storytellers and rhythm makers. We dance from our eyebrows to our toes. Kathak is an ancient Indian classical dance form, in which one dancer portrays all characters in a story through rhythmic movement and expression. Kathakas create varied and complex rhythmic patterns with their feet.
Kathakas Anjali Nath believes in the art as a vehicle for service to society and a path to self-awareness available to everyone. As an artist and teacher, she strives to highlight the relevance, universality, and overall benefits of the multi-faceted art of Kathak for audiences of all backgrounds, ages, genders and cultures.

Thank you for yesterday. You surpassed our expectations. Keeping an audience of 3-6 year-olds engaged is not easy and you did it masterfully!
Please pass along our sincerest gratitude to Anjali! Everything about the presentation was perfect-the pacing and weaving in and out of dancing, storytelling, music-making was awesome! The result was full engagement from the students!
What an incredible event! A huge thanks to Anjali and Young Audiences of Massachusetts for making this virtual field trip possible, and for supporting our students with meaningful artistic experiences. It was inspiring to see students engaged in yesterday's activities and participating in the opportunities for discussion.
